Board Candidates for PPEU 2015

If you want to become a Board Member of PPEU when it is founded in March 2014, please enter your name and other data in the list below until the 16th of June 2015 (This arbitrary date was set to allow the parties to make up their minds about which candidates to support by nomination. Any party may also sponsor candidates which are not listed on this page or enter their candidacy after the 13th.).

As candidates may only be nominated by Pirate Parties, you will only be an official candidate for a position in the Board of PPEU, if at least one Pirate Party which is a member of PPEU is sponsoring you until the 16th of June 2015, 19:30 hours CEST.

Each Pirate Party may sponsor several candidates and candidates from other Pirate Parties (which is also heavily encouraged).

In medias res: In my last employment as Operation Manager I had to care for and strengthen the connection to German and foreign customers. In addition, my area of responsibility involved the safeguarding and observance of environment, safety and health legislation as well as the responsibility for quality management in accordance with DIN – ISO 9000 ff. My area of responsibility concerned production with 330 employees, including the production management. The work is characterised by flexibility, efficiency and absolute reliability. In pressure situations I keep a level head and establish priorities. I work confidently with modern means of communication and am in complete command of the PC, work with common sense and have a positive charisma. Creativity and cost controlling round off my character. Despite the fact that I have had considerable success in my present post I now feel I have gained enough experience to move on to a post with more responsibility. I've also been Member of the Board of Pirates de Catalunya since 2013. As a profession I'm a researcher (experimental physicist). I have good communication skills, initiative and ability for team work. I speak Catalan, Spanish and English fluently, and have some basic notions of German and French. Bastian	PP-DE	I am applying to be elected as a Member of the Board (treasurer).. Since my first General Assembly chairman’s job in 2011 in Friedrichshafen, I have accompanied the International Pirates Movement continuously. For the PPEU foundation process I worked in many international conferences since 2012, such as in Prague (CZ), Aarau (CH), Barcelona (CAT), Rome (I), Manchester (GB), Paris (F), Warsaw (PL), Luxembourg and Bruxelles. I have participated at several online-meetings for developing PPEU-Statues and PPEU-Manifesto. Financially I am independent, so I could pay for my expenses on my own. It will be an extraordinary challenge to organize all necessary structures for our new PPEU and would mean a great honor to me to take on this task. We learned that we lost more than a whole year due to several problems within the board. I am a professional accountant, so I know what that task means. To unite the international Pirates movement is a challenging goal that will make us stand together. Europe should be a continent without borders – Pirates should work together without borders. Mikuláš Peksa [3]	PP-CZ, PP-DE	I have been member of Czech Pirate Party a and Pirate Party of Germany since 2012. Because of my cotutelle PhD I spend last years travelling between Prague (CZ) and Leipzig (DE). I concentrated on stregthening and intensifiing of cross-border cooperation between PP-CZ and PP-DE. I participated in organization of following international Pirate conferences: PP3 in Dresden (2013), PP3 in Pilsen (2014) and Piratecon Mariánské lázně (2015). In autumn 2014 I was appointed as Deputy International Coordinator of Czech Pirate Party. As a profession I am experimantal physicst. I am native speaker in Czech so I can also understand Slovak.
